Most commonly referred to as “Kennedy Park”, this Napa 18-hole championship course should also have the nickname “Water Park”. The course is fun yet challenging with elevation changes that wind along the Napa River. The course has water present on 16 holes, but there are only two water carry holes. If you are like me, my balls love water so take an extra sleeve, or two.
With 4 tee boxes, the course lends a good time for all levels of play. It can be a challenging course for the low handicappers. The course has hosted qualifying rounds for the Kaiser Invitational and the U.S. Open Championship. The signature hole is the tenth. It is a medium length par-4 with a magnificent mature valley oak in the fairway which makes the placement of your tee shot on target, right or left.
The course boasts abundant wildlife, particularly water fowl due to the amount of water. Kennedy Park is said to have their own “geese police” dog to help keep the Canadian geese from the greens.
